CONSULTING Since every project is different, we cannot quote fees for an assignment until we are sure that we understand the situation, the nature of the work to be done, and the results desired from the engagement. We also understand the need to have a preliminary idea of costs to assess the cost/benefit relationship before entering into discussions with a client. Initial Business Assessments All of our consulting projects begin with an initial written business assessment of current operations and consistency of execution. Most often, these assessments take 1 week for completion. Open-Ended Consulting We prefer to work by the project rather than by the hour because it usually provides better value and cost control to the client. Fixed-Duration Project Consulting Most projects, especially operational troubleshooting and project management, require engagements for fixed durations. These engagements are usually weekly or monthly in nature. Concept Development and Project Management Consulting Concept Development and Project Management require time estimates. The fee for concept development and project management work, depend on the nature of the business, the number of variables the owner wants to explore, and the time needed to complete the project. These projects are usually divided into phases that align with the critical path of the project. Our sole intention in undertaking any project is to deliver services that genuinely provide benefit to you. Toward this end, we will tell the truth and take a common sense approach to the engagement. We will maintain an open dialogue with the client and we will notify you promptly of any event that could have an impact on the scope of the work or fees agreed upon.
